Tonight I had the opportunity of attending a night at the Palais Garnier opera house to see their ballet performance of Cinderella. It was a night of decadence and prestige that can only be expected by attending a show at such a grandeur venue. The building itself is stunning and instantly transports you back to a time filled with lavishness and balls.
Despite the curfew restrictions the show still went on and was moved up just an hour. The performance itself was only an hour long but it felt like only fifteen minutes as I was mesmerized by the dancers effortlessly moving across the stage. I highly recommend a night at the opera house for anyone who wants to pretend to be Cinderella for one night.
