Paris is in confinement, we cannot leave our apartments unless for a small list of allowances. For me those allowances are only grocery shopping and my runs, which can only be within 3km of the house. It's so strange, this city that was so alive now exists only in a slumber. The seine is still, there are no tourist boats constantly running. The once busy street I live on is now empty. It's as if the city itself has decided to travel back in time, but was there ever a time when Paris was this vacant? Perhaps in the beginning but not for long I suppose. Despite these unprecedented times and confinement, I am still trying to find beauty in the stillness. xx
